Mini-Marathon Fan Cam

This QR-powered “Fan Cam” was deployed at a mini-marathon in Dublin and allowed participants and their families to leave messages on the big-screen that were displayed at key locations throughout the race.

Support messages were played out with sound on the big-screen.

Attendees scanned the QR-codes displayed on big screens located throughout the race and recorded a short message via their smartphone browser (no app downloads required).

Screens were located at different key locations throughout the race.

Once uploaded, the submission was reviews and moderated by the event team to ensure brand safety and it was then immediately pushed to the big screen to be played in front of the audience.

Everything was delivered through the browser, with no cumbersome downloads required.
